How It Works

We know that you are busy with the most important job of being a parent so we are here to make choosing your nanny as simple as possible without side stepping any of the most important details. We provide a simple step by step process that supports you along the way in choosing the best nanny for your family.

Step 1

Reach out to Creating Connections at Joleigh@creatingconnectionsnannies.com or give us a call at 310-633-4609 to schedule a short phone conversation where we will answer any questions you may have so that you can powerfully choose us to support you in finding your nanny.

Step 2

Schedule a virtual meeting with all adults present (whenever possible). We will have a thorough conversation to discover more about your family, your unique needs and your “must haves” in a nanny. The signed contract and “Finder’s Fee” are due at this time, which allows us to start the search for your nanny.

Step 3

We will search our “pool” of nannies and/or post the position in various places where quality nannies have the opportunity to apply.

Step 4

We screen all candidates through obtaining their resume and references, calling past employers and meeting them virtually, before introducing you to them. When we have a nanny we believe will be a good fit for your family we will schedule a short phone conversation with you to share about the candidate, send you their resume and references and schedule a time for you to meet the candidate in person.

Step 5

After you have met the candidate and you believe they may be a fit, we will schedule a trial day. The candidate is not to be left alone with the child(ren) during the trial day and is to be paid at the end of the day.

Step 6

When you feel confident that they are a fit, we will start a background check. We use a company called  and the process takes 1-3 business days. When the the background check is clear we will notify you via email and send a copy of the background check for your records.

Step 7

Congratulations!! The candidate is cleared
to be hired. You make a job offer and pay
the “Match Fee.” The Match Fee is paid
at the time both Client and Nanny have
agreed to the match or before the Nanny’s
first day, whichever is sooner.
